How Gutsy handles your data when you sign in with Apple, subscribe via RevenueCat, and track health information.

1. Information We Collect
Account data — Apple sign-in identifier, optional name/email (if you share it), subscription status from RevenueCat/App Store, timezone, and device type.
Health-related data you add — Daily check-ins (habits, hydration, stress), symptom logs (symptoms, pain score, notes, dates), bowel movement logs, and streak/activity timestamps.
Support messages — Emails or feedback you send us.
2. How We Use Information
We use your information to operate Gutsy:
• Authenticate you with Apple and sync your data across devices.
• Process subscriptions via RevenueCat/App Store and determine access.
• Store and visualize the health data you enter so you can see trends.
• Respond to support requests and improve reliability.
3. Third-Party Services
Apple — Provides sign-in and may share your name/email if you allow it.
RevenueCat & App Store — Manage subscriptions and payments. We do not receive your full payment details.
Convex — Hosts our database and functions to store your entries securely.
4. Data Storage & Retention
Data is stored in Convex in the United States. We retain your data while your account is active so you can view history. You may request deletion by emailing support@homeword.app; we delete associated personal data except where law requires retention.
5. Your Choices
You can update entries in the app, cancel subscriptions via the App Store, or request export/deletion by emailing support@homeword.app.
6. Children's Privacy
Gutsy is designed for adults managing IBS. If we learn we collected data from a child without consent, we will delete it.
7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy as the product evolves. We will update the “Last updated” date above and notify you for material changes.
